Computers

    The library has computers available for public use and provides free internet and email access.  We also have free WiFi available.

    Fax and Copies

    Fax service is available for $0.50 for the first page and $0.25 for each page thereafter. Fax service is only available at the Library, the City Office no longer offers this service at their location. 

    Black and white copies are available for $0.25 per page.  Color Copies for $0.50 per page.

    Printers

    Black and white printing is available for $0.25 per page.  Color Copies for $0.50 per page.

      

    Library Frequently Ask Questions:

    How do I get a Library Card?

    Library cards can be obtained by filling out a registration form at the library desk.  Library cards are free to residents of Beaver County.  Signature of a parent or legal guardian is required for a person under age 14.  

     

    How long can I keep the books and other library items?

    The loan period for books, DVDs and CDs is 2 weeks (14 days)

     

    How much will I have to pay if my books are not returned within the loan period?

    Fines are as follows:  $0.10 per day per book up to the value of the book or $10.00 maximum per book

    $.50 per day per DVD or CD

     

    Do you have reading programs for Children?

    We offer story time every Wednesday, excluding holidays.  

    • Preschool-K     1 pm
    • 1st grade and up  3 pm

    The activities at story time are stories, crafts, and music

     

    We offer a Summer Reading Program that starts in June and runs through August.  There are many fun activities and prizes involved with the Summer Reading Program.

     

    If you don’t have a book I would like or need, what can I do?

    Talk to Library Staff Member.  We can request an Interlibrary Loan for you.  A lending library will be located and the book will be sent to us.  We will contact you when we receive it but must abide by the lending library policy.

     

    Is there any way I can download a book to tablet, e-reader, I-Pod or other electronic devices?

    There is a way to access this information from the State’s Online Library at Pioneerlibrary.org.  Come by the library or call us for the Pioneer access code.

     

    Do you accept donations?

    We are happy to accept donations.  If we are unable to us e the books on our shelves, we use them to pursue other options to get much-needed items.

     

    Do you have any book groups going on at the Library?

    There is a book group held every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2 pm.  Contact the Library for more information.

     

    Do you have an annual report of Public Library Services?

    The report is available for review at the Library.
